Neil's Boat Trips!
Neil's boat trips are legendary. Bringing a great Scottish sense of humour, local knowledge on the tales, legends and the history of Kintail along with some of the finest seafood you will ever taste, they are not to be missed!
The boat trips either take place on Loch Alsh or on Loch Carron depending on weather and are well worth the experience! Boat trips are available on 4, 6 and 9 day tours during the summer months, weather permitting of course, and are included within the kitty for these tours.
Neil heads out into the sea lochs with the dramatic skyline of the Isle of Skye and the Bealach Na Ba giving you the very best of West Coast Scenery. Occasionally, mussels are collected for cooking on board with some wine and garlic or scallops can be the dish of the day! Either way the seafood is as fresh as it comes having been caught just beforehand within the very lochs we're sailing on. Whilst the aromas of food cooking waft around, chances are you'll be captivated by the playful seals swimming around in the water or basking on the rocks, staring with their dark curious eyes straight towards you. Herons stand proud on the small islands just off shore and the Red Hills tower in the distance.
And if you're lucky you may see Neil later in the Plockton Inn, having a pint and playing a tune or two on his fiddle.
